WEST VIRGINIA ATTEMPTS TO BLOCK CROSS COUNTRY AFFILIATE FROM FIRING EMPLOYEES.(Darrell McGraw, Applied Card Systems Inc.)(Brief Article)

The West Virginia Attorney General is seeking a court order to prevent Applied Card Systems Inc., a collections affiliate of subprime issuer Cross Country Bank Inc., from firing employees in its Huntington, VA, facility who refuse to sign or abide by a new restrictive confidentiality policy. In his filing, Attorney General Darrell McGraw said the new policy is an attempt to prevent employees from reporting alleged unlawful activities.
